Part 2 of my blogging about the Fistful of Glitter-themed session continues on with my adding more images with the Monda Goette Photography 2017 Senior Model Team girls. (you can see Part 1 here if you haven't yet!) I love that this team of girls has become so close in such a short amount of time. We have girls (and guys) living in West St. Paul, Farmington, Rosemount, Shakopee, New Prague, South St. Paul, and Northfield - so all across the twin cities and then some! I'm glad that they can make extra special memories to add to their last year of high school!
I wanted the high school model girls to be present along with my Girls of Summer: I AM ME teen model crew, to be there as added support and encouragement to the younger teens. After all, young girls always look up to the older high school girls, right? (at least that was my thoughts!)
But the high school model girls also had their own fun! With the selfie stick, taking their own selfies behind set, having the Girls of Summer crew toss confetti glitter at them for a few shots, and also a few post-session images at the new studio.
One of these times, we will have a photo session when all of the girls AND guys are present! Here are the 2017 Senior Model Team ladies from the glitter session!
Bottom image was my poor attempt to toss glitter at them and try to take the photo at the same time. Fail!
One of my senior models, Reggie, was able to bond to one of the Girls of Summer: I AM ME models, Ellie. Both of these girls would rather be in hockey skates than in a dress. Both love sports, not so much glamour. Ellie was a complete sport and took her images in her dress, but I know she would have rather been in her Under Armour gear THE ENTIRE TIME! It was fun to hear how much both of these girls had in common, even though they are years apart in age. Reggie could totally relate to what Ellie was feeling when she was her age. What a connection!
Thank you ladies for being wonderful role models to our younger model team, and for making them feel extra special on this day!
After the session concluded, a few of the seniors hung out and we took a few extra snapshots with studio chair props. Such pretty girls! It was also a fun opportunity to give them a model-esque feel to their posing. Beauties!
