Congrats to local winners for the Adorable National Children’s Portrait Contest | Woodbury, MN Children’s Photographer
If you’ll remember, in spring/summer of 2021, my studio had the great honor to host the “Cute Kid Photo Contest” charity fundraiser event as an “In-Kind Sponsor” of Kaposia Days (for you non South St Paul Packers, Kaposia (cup-owe-zha) Days is my hometown’s annual kick-ass city festival celebration, usually held around the third weekend in June). It’s pretty cool to bring my small business to my home town.
The Kaposia Days Cute Kid Contest brought in over 40 children to be photographed, and collectively, we raised over $4500 plus collected canned goods and toiletry items for Neighbors, Inc., which is one of the most amazing and humbling non-profit organizations out there helping people in the community. As part of the contest session fee, each child also had an entry into the Adorable National Children’s Portrait Contest, which one of my professional photo labs sponsors every year for professional studios across the United States. The lab awards their own prizes in their specific categories with First, Second and Third placement, and Honorable Mentions for each category. The lab recently announced winners from this 2021 national contest, and…

And thank you so much to my lab for their generosity in hosting this fun nation-wide contest! This was my first time entering as a portrait studio, and I’m thrilled to be named among the other very talented professional photographers out there who participated in this fun national contest. And the portraits of the kids who won from my studio…WOW. These kids named above definitely made my job easy and I loved having the opportunity to photograph every single one!
