Take a picture, it lasts longer.
A cliche that rings true. Pictures DO last longer, as they preserve one glimpse in time. If I asked you what is most important to you, I’ll bet 95% of you would say “My family.”
Printed photographs of your children and family members can serve as tangible reminders of the things that matter most to us. A framed wall gallery featuring your family can capture a specific moment in time and allow you to revisit that memory every time your eyes lock with that imagery. When you look at printed photographs of your favorite people - which is usually your family - it can evoke powerful emotions and bring that spark of joy. There is no better art work to display in your home than that of your own family.
Take young toddlers, for instance. They LOVE to look at their own reflection when they see themselves! Beaming with smiles ear-to-ear. Growing up, our children love to see themselves in displayed family photographs to foster that sense of belonging, and how they fit into the equation. It helps to develop their confidence. SCHEDULE A CALL TO START THE CONVERSATION
We begin with the end in mind by creating a plan for where we will display the photos in your home, either in a custom story-telling album, or as wall decor for your home to tell the story of your family. THE SESSION
This is everything but formal. We will have a fun (most likely chaotic) time during your photo shoot. Capturing family dynamics as we tell your story is our jam.

REVEAL AND ORDER SESSION
We reveal the beautiful chaos that is your family during an in-person reveal and ordering appointment where we will solidify your favorite choices of wall art or album images and gifts for your home.
My story.
Hey there, it’s Monda the Photographer. I believe in the power of printed portraits.
One of my favorite people in the whole entire world was my “Gramma” Lucy.
Growing up, I remember being at my gramma & grampa’s house and she had all of these old candid snapshots in photo albums of my mom, my aunts & uncles, and even me and my cousins as a small child. Every time I flipped through those pages as I grew up, I was transported right back to their world, to learn the stories and lives of my relatives. I would see pictures of me as a little kid and feel happy, and proud that this is ME, and this is MY family.
Unfortunately, I never did get the honor of having both my grandma and grandfather in a professional portrait, and I wish so badly that I would have. It’s a familiar song I hear many of us sing after our favorite people leave this world before we’re ready for them to.
My “Gramma and Grampa” are gone now, it’s been quite a few years, and all I have left of them is what is in my memory, and what is in my heart, and, thankfully a few candid shots over the years to adore, admire, and remember.
Don’t be me. Time is precious and limited with those we love. I’ve made it part of my mission at Monda Goette Photography to help you preserve those memories and tell those stories of your family unapologetically in photographs.
