Amanda & Dave Wilson | Eagan, MN Photographer | Weddings
On a sunny day in July, I had the honor of photographing my cousin Amanda and her now husband Dave's wedding in Eagan, Minnesota at Trinity Lone Oak Lutheran Church. It was glorious! Their special day was filled with love and tradition. Amanda chose to keep her dress a "secret" until she put it on at the church for the first time. Even her bridesmaids didn't see what dress she chose until she walked into the room to surprise them! Her reveal was breathtaking! Her bridesmaids were nearly in tears with joy seeing their friend in her bridal gown for the very first time!
Keeping with tradition, Amanda and Dave did not see each other at all until she walked down the isle. She had a special handkerchief made for her mom, my aunt Joyce. She carried our late grandfather's kerchief with her bouquet. She wore our late grandmother's wedding ring to honor her. Amanda's dad, my uncle Paul, had special "Father of the Bride" cuff links. Little details like this that made an already special day more meaningful. Many magical moments on this day, and I was so happy to be there to capture it all!

I can't forget to mention that Amanda's dad had his 1970 Chevelle SS in pristine condition ready for Dave & Amanda to drive off into the sunset. Just kidding...Dave & Amanda DID NOT get to drive off in the Chevelle - but we were able to take some great photos next to it! Take a look! (Sorry uncle Paul, that was probably not a funny joke to you! :-)
Not only was Amanda's bridal gown stunning, she had a long flowing veil, which was the perfect length for us try some fun and creative shots at the Eagan Community Center Park! Dave also was looking pretty slick in his tuxedo!
All of the groomsmen, including Dave, were wearing argyle socks and posed to show them off for this outtake!
Their wedding ceremony was followed by a dinner and dance reception in Lakeville, Minnesota. Fun was had by all!
