This was a fun session having the Chadwick family over to my house over the summer for a family photo session in my backyard in Woodbury, MN!
To say I’m thankful for being blessed with good friends and family is an understatement.
This is a very awesome crew of three right here. Grant, Beth, and little Zandy. They are the best!
This photo session was extra special because recently, Beth had been diagnosed with breast cancer. In both breasts. Treatment needed to start within days of her diagnosis - right after the July 4th holiday to be exact. Beth had wanted to have photos done before she started to lose her hair and go through the rough patches that lovely cancer presents itself with. I am so grateful that she was feeling well enough for us to spend some time to do pics before she had to go home to rest. The photos turned out awesome! Take a peek!
The weather was great, and I loved the little squeaky laughter from Zandy! Isn’t she just a doll face! And those eyes! Blue. Striking. Captivating.
In life, there are so many blessings, so many gifts. We go through this life we are given, and stumble along the way. But we dust ourselves off, get back up, and somehow become stronger after every fall.
This life is not perfect for any one of us. We have moments of victory, moments to celebrate, and then we have times where life throws us a curve ball filled with unknowns and challenges we don’t even know. The glorious part about it all is we can choose how we handle each pitch.
I know that there is a long road of fighting ahead for Beth - but I also know that Beth is going into this rumble armored with a positive attitude and all the love, strength and support she needs to win.
I love you guys, I’m so glad we have found each other! Beth - you are a stunning beautiful woman - a loving, strong mother, with so many amazing things to look forward to! Your eyes sparkle with determination to come out on top in this battle. You are going to kick cancer out of this world girl. I know you can do it.
